Maren Schabhüser is a creative photographer and set designer based in Hamburg. Using a wide range of materials and techniques she creates unique, innovative and joyful images. She likes to combine graphic simplicity and bright colors always with a playful approach towards work.

 

In her early days during her studies at the University of Applied Science and Arts in Dortmund she already discovered her passion for complex handcrafted work and fell in love with all kinds of paper. 

 

With a spirit of perfectionism she loves to create sweet minimalistic worlds – as well in still life shots as in stop-motion clips. Here she always starts with some quick scribbles to illustrate her ideas to the client, before she brings her creative paper works and set designs with the help of photography to life.
